People with dyslexia learn to read, but do so using an inefficient process, requiring a higher exertion of effort, intelligence, and motivation.
SpellRead has been specifically constructed to provide remediation for the phonological weaknesses in people with dyslexia and other learning differences.

SpellRead consists of 105 lessons broken into three phases. Success in each lesson and phase depends on mastering the preceding lessons and phases. As students’ word-level skills, fluency, automaticity, vocabulary, and comprehension develop, the emphasis, content, pacing, and complexity of reading instruction shifts.
As students gain word-reading efficiency, the effort to decode decreases (because it has become automatic) and the contribution of background knowledge, vocabulary, and broader language skills increases.
